Assistant Superintendent
Hop Meadow Country Club is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Assistant Superintendent to join our grounds maintenance team. The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to oversee and execute the maintenance and improvement of our golf course and grounds. This role requires a passion for golf course management, strong leadership abilities, and a keen attention to detail.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, Horticulture, or related field preferred
- Possession of or ability to obtain a valid pesticide applicator license within 6 months of hire.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in golf course maintenance, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of turfgrass management practices, irrigation systems, and equipment operation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
