Assistant Superintendent
Cimarrone Golf Club is looking to add an assistant superintendent to its talented agronomic team. This position will assist in all phases of golf course maintenance. Oversee and participate in maintenance of golf course greens, tees, fairways, rough, bunkers, cart paths and landscape areas.
Assist with planning and scheduling, instructing training and directing crew in performance of golf maintenance procedures and job responsibilities.
Checks progress of staff during the day.
Oversee chemical and fertilizer applications and assist in application.
Instruct equipment operators in operation and care of equipment.
Advise of course conditions in absence of superintendent.
Exhibits and maintains professional demeanor to reflect positive image of Cimarron Golf Club.
Must be able to multi task.
Educational Requirements
Turf grass certificate or degree. Will also consider on the job experience.
Experience Requirements
Prior golf course experience including management of staff.
Knowledge of chemical and fertilizers, proper use of equipment. Understanding of golf course set up and jobs related to golf maintenance.
