New Job Opportunity: Turf Equipment Demonstrator and Delivery Specialist - Kent, WA


Turf Star Western, a leading provider of turf maintenance equipment, is seeking a motivated and dynamic
individual for the position of Turf Equipment Demonstrator and Delivery Specialist. In this role, you will
actively demonstrate our range of turf maintenance equipment at customer locations, trade shows, field days,
and other events to support pre-sale efforts, as well as post sale education. You will also be responsible for
delivering and picking up turf equipment from various locations, ensuring prompt and professional service.
Responsibilities:
Conduct demonstrations: Showcase the features and capabilities of our turf maintenance equipment to potential
customers, providing hands-on experience and addressing inquiries.
Equipment delivery and pick-up: Safely transport turf maintenance equipment to and from different locations,
including company facilities, golf courses, municipalities, trade show events, and more. This includes new
equipment set-ups, repairs, warehouse transfers, and vehicle transfers.
Customer education and support: Collaborate with our outside sales representatives to provide after-sales
support, including customer education and training on the proper operation, features, and safety procedures of
their newly acquired equipment.
Professional representation: Represent Turf Star Western in a professional and ethical manner during all
interactions with customers, colleagues, vendors, and management. Maintain clear and effective
communication, both verbally and in writing.
Qualifications:
• Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Location: Reside within 30 miles of the TSW facility.
• Education: High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Driver's license: Possess a valid Class C driver's license.
• Driving experience: Minimum of 3 years of driving experience with a clean motor vehicle record.
• Software proficiency: Proven daily use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook,
and Teams) and experience using virtual conferencing solutions.
• CRM system: Proven experience working in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Customer service: Demonstrated customer service and effective communication skills.
• Equipment handling: Experience securing heavy equipment with straps and ability to drive a pickup
truck while towing a 26-foot flatbed trailer skillfully and safely.
• Physical abilities: Capable of lifting 50 lbs. without assistance and 75 lbs. with assistance. Ability to
work in a fast-paced environment.
• Traits: Reliable, organized, detailed, focused, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Commercial lawn maintenance and construction equipment experience/knowledge.
• Sales experience: Familiarity with sales processes is a plus.
• Small engine mechanics: Work experience or specialized education in small engine mechanics would be
advantageous.
Position Offerings:
• Classification: Non-exempt
• Job Type: Full-time
• $22-$28.00 per hour. The hired applicant's placement within this range is based on qualifications and
professional experience.
• Eligible for discretionary variable compensation.
• Pay Frequency: Paid 2 times a month (semi-monthly)
• Paid Time Off (PTO): Earned per pay period based on months of continuous service. Starting PTO
accrual is 4.00 hours per pay period, equivalent to 8 hours per month.
