Assistant Superintendent

Full-time

Stone Oak Country Club is an up-scale private facility, located in Holland, Ohio; which is a suburb of Toledo, Ohio. Stone Oak was established in 1921 and was originally called Glengarry Country Club until 1989. The course was originally designed by S.P. Jermaine and was redesigned by Robert Bruce Harris. The Club features an 18-hole course, par 71, which measures 6,625 yards from the Championship tees. The golf course fairways and tees are creeping bentgrass, and the putting greens are a mixture of Bent/Poa annua. In 2018, we installed a new Toro 2-wire irrigation system. The club also features a practice facility, fitness center, tennis courts and pool. Our goal as the maintenance staff is to provide tournament like conditions to our members; assistants play a key role in delivering these conditions. We currently are building four new tee complexes in-house, with more improvements to come throughout the next few years.

Stone Oak Country Club is looking to hire an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.  The assistant will work closely with the Superintendent and Senior Assistant, with helping oversee all phases of the golf course maintenance operations.
