Savannah Quarters Country Club (SQCC), in Savannah, GA is currently seeking applications for First Assistant Superintendent. Our private 18-hole Greg Norman Signature course is located in a private residential community and owned and operated by Heritage Golf Group. The course has been voted Best of the Best by the Savannah Morning News.

The position reports to and works closely with the Golf Course Superintendent in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the golf course and club grounds. They will work closely with the Superintendent, Second Assistant Superintendent and Mechanic. The position assists with fertilizer and pesticide applications, irrigation repair and upgrades, executes and manages special projects and is responsible for training and supervising the golf maintenance staff with the assistance of the Superintendent.

Ideal candidates should have a 2- or 4-year Turf Management degree or in a related field and 1-3 years’ experience as an Assistant Superintendent.  They must be able to obtain a Georgia pesticide license within six months of employment.
