Summary:

Performs maintenance and repairs on all golf course maintenance equipment and other related assignments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following;

·         Maintains equipment by conducting routine checks and by providing regular service.

·         Performs service and repairs on all equipment in the inventory.

·         Grinds mower reels.

·         Operates golf course maintenance equipment as necessary.

·         Communicates with members, co-workers, management and the general public in a courteous and professional manner.

·         Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.

·         Performs other duties as assigned by the Head Mechanic.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·         Must be able to sharpen and service reels.

·         Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

·         Previous club experience preferred.

·         Ability to verbally communicate well. 

·         Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.

·         Ability to interact professionally and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, co-workers and members.

·         Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
