Spray/Applications Technician
The Big Cats at Ocean Ridge Plantation Golf has an opening for a full-time spray technician who has certification in Pesticide Application or the ability to work toward acquiring a North Carolina Pesticide Applicator’s License. Primary function will be spraying the many ponds on the property. Will assist with the maintenance of the four golf courses, practice areas and clubhouse facilities and will be responsible for reading, understanding and keeping current with chemical labels and MSDS and for compiling reports of pesticide usage for the head superintendents.
Educational Requirements
Two-year degree in turf management preferred but not required.
Experience Requirements
A minimum of two years’ experience as a spray technician or second assistant superintendent at a golf facility required.
