Assistant Superintendents at Old Barnwell have the unique opportunity to be a part of ongoing golf course construction. We have just completed the first 18 holes and are in the process of constructing the kids course (14-hole short course) and the driving range. The Gilroy (second 18-hole course) is set to start in 2025. The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent works alongside the Senior Assistant and Superintendent.

Areas to be involved in:

• All areas of golf course management

• Implementation of chemical & fertilizer applications

• Equipment calibration

• Irrigation and drainage repair

• Water management

• Record keeping

• Employee management and training

• Involved heavily in the construction and grow-in of the driving range and kids course

Expectations:

• Strong work ethic

• Be able to work effectively in a team environment

• Be objective of meeting or exceeding club goals and standards
