Native Grasses is a turf management company located on Nantucket Island, MA about 2 hrs and a ferry ride from Boston.  Nantucket is home to some of the most picturesque landscapes on the east coast and Native Grasses is a rapidly growing lawn service company on the beautiful island of Nantucket.  The company is currently looking for a qualified applicant with a background in golf course maintenance and/or landscape.

This job opportunity is ideal for individuals who are:

• recent graduates from an accredited turf program.
• experienced applicators looking to relocate,  
• already employed in the golf or athletic field management industry and looking for opportunity outside the golf industry. 

Job Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and walk several miles in a day
• Massachusetts Pesticide License Cat. 37 ability to obtain license within 6 months of hire
• Valid Driver's license
• Background or prior work experience in the turf/landscape industry 
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Our higher end clientele and landscape groups demand the attention to detail and results that parallel the golf course industry.  This requires the successful applicant to be prepared (physically and mentally) for a demanding in-season schedule.
