Richwood Golf Club is providing an excellent opportunity to join a small team at the very beginning of a multi-year infrastructure and golf course reconstruction and renovation endeavor.  We are looking for someone who will be able to bring ideas, a strong work ethic, communication skills, and leadership skills to a facility that is being rebuilt from the very ground floor.

Currently, the club is closed and will remain closed for the 2025 and possibly the 2026 season as we complete course renovations along with facility upgrades and additions. This is a tremendous opportunity to be a part of building every agronomic and facility procedure from conception with plenty of autonomy and a very small team of leadership.  A new 17,000 square foot maintenance facility is being constructed to house an equipment package consisting of a new Toro mower fleet along with many other pieces to carry out agronomic practices.  A Toro irrigation system is being installed by Tanto Irrigation starting on or around June 1st along with a state of the art pumping facility.  Tee box complexes are being designed and constructed with the goal of tripling the size of tees, lengthening holes, and providing tees for family play in this initial phase of construction.   Fairway drainage will be planned and added as needed with obvious current concerns being addressed first.  All bunkers will be redesigned and renovated with some being added or removed from the current concept.  Cart path routing and construction will provide paths that will traverse the entire property.  The initial clubhouse design concepts are being planned with the goal of completely renovating and expanding on the current clubhouse.  As you can see, there is a full commitment to provide not only an excellent experience for our guests in the future, but to provide a world class working environment where we have adopted the idea of “If you can dream it, we can accomplish it!”

Richwood Golf Club is located just outside of the towns of Glens Falls and Hudson Falls, New York.  We are 30 minutes north of Saratoga Springs, NY, 30 minutes south of Lake George, NY, and about an hour from Albany, NY and Rutland, Vt.  We are at the very north end of the Hudson Valley with the Adirondack Mountains, Green Mountain, Lake George, and Lake Champlain all less than an hour away.  New York City, Boston, and Montreal metro stations are less than 3 hours away.  With a never ending abundance of outdoor activities close by, major cities are also within reach.
