Assistant Superintendent

Hiring a Superintendent/ Assistant Superintendent for a Rolling Hills Country Club, A private Country Club in Los Angeles.  We are a unique Golf Course with 18 acres of Bentgrass and 70 Acres of fairway and 70 acres of Natives.  The renovated course has been open seven and a half years.  The crew consists of 46 employees, we run Toro irrigation and have a sizable budget to work with.  

The Director of Agronomy has been here for 13 years, the other assistant 25 years with our average crew member having twenty years experience.  Seven of our last eight Assistants have gone on to Superintendent positions with our Current Assistant leaving for a Sales position. 

This is a year round full time Salaried position where you will work every third weekend, having two days off when the weekend is yours.  The crew, membership and facilities are amazing and we are looking for help to improve the conditions for our members and their guests.  

Educational Requirements

Bachelors degree preferred, two years considered with adequate work experience. 

Experience Requirements

Two years of course experience required.  Must know the basic work duties to properly manage expectations.  

Special Requirements

QAC/QAL required or condition of employment.
