Job Summary:

Maintain proper irrigation on all grounds; operate and care for golf course maintenance equipment; maintain golf course grounds.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Designs, implements and maintains mechanical and electrical components of complex irrigation system TORO and HDPE pipes.

2. Repairs equipment associated with irrigation

3. Performs preventive maintenance on all equipment associated with irrigation

4. Maintains complete records on all equipment maintenance associated with irrigation

5. Controls expenses associated with irrigation equipment and activities

6. Maintains inventory of parts needed for irrigation equipment

7. Irrigates all grounds as needed

Educational Requirements

· High School degree or equivalent preferred.

· Valid Irrigation license maintained at all times.

· Minimum 3 years of related irrigation experience required.

· Minimum 1 year of experience in golf course environment preferred.

· Ability to operate machinery and equipment safely within regulations set by OSHA.

· Ability to read and converse in English for communication with managers and for safety reasons.

· Must have a valid driver’s license for golf cart and golf equipment and vehicle operation.
