Spray/Applications Technician
We are looking for an individual who wants to learn in a department that encourages growth via training and development of its team members. Our 1919 Seth Raynor design is currently being renovated. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to grow in the golf course maintenance industry. As a member of our Golf Course Maintenance Team, one may be responsible for the following job responsibilities:
- All practices related to turf maintenance including but not limited to mowing, spraying, fertilizing, and irrigating
- Chemical and mechanical control of weeds, diseases, insects, and other pests
- Fertilizing and pest control of landscape
- Record keeping of fertilizer and pest control applications
- Removing debris off the course
- Hand-watering localized dry areas and landscape
- Other duties as assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent's
Educational Requirements
High school diploma. An individual interested in earning a turf degree is welcome.
Experience Requirements
Some turf experience is required. This can be in golf, sports turf, or agriculture. The pay is DOE.
Special Requirements
A positive attitude and willingness to learn are the two most important traits we desire.
