The Golf Club at Bradshaw Farm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Irrigation Technician to join our agronomy team. This is a key position responsible for maintaining and optimizing the irrigation system across our 27-hole facility. Located in the foothills of the North Georgia mountains, The Golf Club at Bradshaw Farm is known for its scenic views, challenging layout, and commitment to excellence. Our course utilizes a Toro Osmac system with Lynx central control, offering state-of-the-art precision irrigation across the property.

Position Summary:

The Irrigation Technician will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of the golf course irrigation system to ensure consistent water distribution and optimal turf health. This role works closely with the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, operate, and maintain the Toro Osmac irrigation system using Lynx central control

• Diagnose and repair irrigation system components (heads, valves, wiring, pumps, etc.)

• Perform preventative maintenance on system infrastructure

• Assist with hand watering and syringing during high-heat periods

• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts inventory, and system mapping

• Collaborate with the turf team to support overall course conditioning goals

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of irrigation experience, preferably on a golf course or sports turf

• Experience with Toro Osmac systems and Lynx software highly preferred

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

• Ability to read irrigation plans and wiring diagrams

• Valid driver’s license and ability to work weekends/holidays as scheduled

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
