Assistant Superintendent
Colleton River Club, a premier 45-hole private residential golf course community located in the heart of the Lowcountry in Bluffton, SC, is seeking a motivated and detailed-oriented Assistant Golf Course Superintendent for its renowned Dye Course.
Designed as a stunning links-style course with sweeping views of Port Royal Sound and the Atlantic Ocean, the Dye Course has hosted prestigious events, including the 2015 U. S. Junior Amateur Championship.

Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to manage day-to-day operations
- Lead, train, and supervise maintenance staff to uphold top-tier course conditions
- Assist in all facets of course maintenance, including
- Daily course setup and preparation
- Irrigation system operation and troubleshooting
- Fertilizer and pesticide applications
- Planning and executing projects and improvements
- Serve as acting Superintendent in their absence.
- Demonstrate initiative in continuing professional development and staff mentorship
Educational Requirements
Degree in Turfgrass Management or a related field from an accredited two - or four-year institution
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on golf course maintenance experience
- A demonstrated interest in pursuing a long-term career in golf course management
