Seasonal Intern
Internship Overview:
We are seeking motivated and curious individuals pursuing a career in turfgrass management, agronomy, or horticulture to join our team for the 2026 season. This is a hands-on, immersive internship where you'll gain real-world experience in daily golf course maintenance, sustainable turf practices, and long-term course improvement strategies.
As part of your internship, you’ll also be tasked with leading a project focused on maintaining and improving a designated section of our practice facility—giving you both responsibility and ownership of a meaningful component of the course.
You will also have the opportunity to work alongside and learn from Dan Dinelli, a respected and innovative figure in the turfgrass industry known for his forward-thinking approach and commitment to environmental stewardship.
Key Learning Opportunities & Responsibilities:
-Assist with daily golf course maintenance: mowing, irrigation, bunker care, trimming, rolling, etc.
-Participate in cultural practices including aeration and pest management
-Operate a wide range of turf maintenance equipment
-Support course setup and tournament preparation
-Contribute to sustainability and soil health initiatives
-Assist in the planning and prep stages of a property-wide Toro irrigation system upgrade
-Lead a focused project to improve and maintain a section of our practice facility
-Work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Experience Requirements
Qualifications:
-Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, Horticulture, related program, or equivalent experience.
-Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and a passion for golf course management
-Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor
-Prior golf course or landscape maintenance experience is a plus, but not required
-Must be dependable, team-oriented, and committed to quality.
