Caves Valley Golf Club – 2026 Student Internship
Caves Valley Golf Club is seeking motivated Student Interns for the 2026 season. This hands-on internship is designed to provide the knowledge and experience needed to grow into a successful Assistant Superintendent and, ultimately, a Golf Course Superintendent.
Interns will work directly under the Golf Course
Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents, gaining exposure to all facets of golf course management, including:

Daily course setup and playability standards

Pesticide applications and fertility programs

Water management and irrigation practices
-
Turf health monitoring and cultural practices

Crew leadership and staff management
-
Participation in annual renovation and construction projects
Caves Valley is committed to continuous improvement, with at least one major project scheduled each year. Interns will not only strengthen their technical and leadership skills but also gain valuable experience to build a strong, standout résumé.
Educational Requirements
- Students currently enrolled in a Turfgrass Management program (2 or 4 year, pr certificate).
- Prior turf/golf course experience is helpful, but not required (we'll work with you).
- Highly motivated, team-oriented individuals ready to learn and make an impact on the team.
