Golf Course Superintendent – Daytona, Florida

Pelican Bay Golf Course - North seeks an enthusiastic and experienced Golf Course Superintendent to manage all aspects of golf course maintenance and operations in Daytona, FL.

Key Responsibilities of your Role
*Oversee the daily maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, bunkers, roughs, and practice
facilities.
*Develop and implement a comprehensive agronomic plan, including turfgrass management, irrigation scheduling, pest control, and environmental stewardship.
*Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance team members to ensure productivity, safety, and professional development.
*Prepare and manage the annual maintenance budget, track expenses, and recommend cost-effective solutions.
*Plan and execute short- and long-term improvement projects in coordination with the General Manager.
*Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to course operations.

Qualifications
*Minimum of 3 years as a Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
*Degree or certification in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, Horticulture, or related field preferred (experience will be considered).
*Strong leadership skills with the ability to build a cohesive and motivated team.
*Proven knowledge of turfgrass science, soil management, irrigation systems, and pest control practices.
*Excellent communication and organizational skills.
*Experience managing Bermuda and/or Bentgrass in challenging climates preferred.
