This internship will be an excellent opportunity to be exposed to USGA spec Tif-Eagle putting green management, Zoysia grass management, and daily golf course maintenance. Interns will work closely with the management team on (but not limited to) chemical applications, irrigation R&M, and seasonal Zoysia/Bermudagrass cultural practices.

Excellent opportunity to be exposed to new on course plantings during the Spring of 2026.

Augusta Country Club in Augusta, Georgia was founded in 1899. ACC is an 18-hole private club originally designed by Donald Ross. Over the last 20+ years, the club has put a lot of time and focus into the golf course with renovations happening in 2001, 2017, and recently in 2022. In 2001, the club converted putting greens from Penncross Bentgrass to A-1 Bentgrass. More recently in 2017, the club converted fairways/tees from 419 Bermuda Grass to Zorro Zoysia grass along with a new HDPE irrigation system and Better Billy Bunkers. In 2022, the golf course was closed for putting green reconstruction and conversation to Tif-Eagle bermuda grass. Along with the putting greens, extensive tree work, green side bunker construction, and green surround sand capping were completed as well.
