Whether early in your career or experienced, you'll supervise staff, manage scheduling, provide feedback on staff and course conditions, contribute to agronomic planning and budgeting, utilize advanced equipment and technology, benchmark other facilities, and attend professional development opportunities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Assist in planning, directing, and supervising daily golf course maintenance activities, including mowing, irrigation, fertilization, and pest control. 

  • Train, mentor, and evaluate golf course maintenance staff to ensure efficient operations and adherence to safety protocols. 

  • Manage and or perform chemical applications, equipment calibration, and inventory control for fertilizers, pesticides, and supplies in compliance with environmental regulations. 

  • Assist with construction, renovation, cultivation, and other golf course improvement projects. 

  • Monitor course conditions, weather impacts, and turf health to implement agronomic programs according to standards. 

  • Assist with budget preparation, cost control, and procurement of materials and equipment. 

  • Ensure the golf course meets Keswick standards for playability, aesthetics, and sustainability. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned relevant to organizational success. 

  • In short periods, be able to oversee entire GCM operations with and without supervision. 

  • Coordinate and supervise GCM facility for cleanliness and organization. 

  • Attend Keswick Club Staff and Management meetings, promote Keswick Hall & Club culture  

 

Educational Requirements

Associates or bachelor's degree in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, Horticulture, or related field preferred. Certificate or relevant experience.

Experience Requirements

2 years or more relevant golf course maintenance, previous supervisory experience welcomed.
