Seasonal Intern
The Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts is actively recruiting Agronomy Interns for the 2026 golf season. Our internship development program continues to grow stronger each year, built on a foundation of on-the-job teaching, in-field training, and professional development. In recent seasons, we’ve expanded our focus to include leadership and management training, helping to prepare interns not only as skilled turf managers but as future leaders in our industry.
Interns will work closely with our Superintendents to become proficient in daily course preparation, agronomic and cultural practices, irrigation maintenance, chemical/fertilizer calibration and application, water management, equipment setup and maintenance, detailed record keeping/inventory and other tasks as assigned. Interns will be cross trained in all facets of golf course maintenance and operations, including in-house construction projects. This is a tremendous learning opportunity for those striving to grow personally and professionally in the turf industry.
Interns will attend bi-weekly meetings with the Director of Grounds, Golf Course Superintendent, and other members of our turf team to discuss and understand the decisions we make daily, review all cultural and maintenance practices, examine our pesticide program and why we are applying the products, as well as the importance of communication with the Equipment & Shop Manager when it comes to equipment usage.
