Palmetto Pine Country Club is seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our agronomy team. This is an excellent opportunity for a turf professional looking to take the next step in their career while helping maintain and improve one of Cape Coral’s premier semi-private golf facilities.
Responsibilities

Assist in daily golf course maintenance planning and crew supervision

Lead and train staff on maintenance practices and safety procedures

Operate and calibrate sprayers and spreaders

Support irrigation scheduling, repairs, and moisture management

Scout for turf pests, disease, and overall course conditions

Ensure high-quality course setup and playing standards

Help manage equipment upkeep and supply inventory

Maintain regulatory and environmental compliance
Educational Requirements
Degree or certificate in Turfgrass Management or related field preferred
Experience Requirements

Golf course maintenance leadership experience preferred

Florida pesticide applicator license or ability to obtain within 90 days

Knowledge of warm-season turfgrass management practices

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Willingness to work weekends/holidays as required
