Seasonal Intern
We are pleased to offer internship opportunities for the 2026 season! The Stockfarm Club is a Tom Fazio designed championship golf club located in the heart of the Bitterroot valley in Montana. We are only offering two intern positions for the 2026 season so if you are interested in receiving hands on experience in a wide range of golf maintenance equipment and instruction tailored to your needs, consider applying soon!
Interns can expect to be involved in all aspects of golf course maintenance and will play a major role on our team. Interns can expect to gain experience in daily course setup, mower operation, fertilizer and pesticide application and calibration, irrigation maintenance and repair, topdressing and aerification, and crew management. Interns must be self-motivated, detail-oriented individuals that are aspiring to be managers in the turf field.
Work is performed on an 18-hole private golf course, with
· T-1 Creeping Bengrass on the Greens.
· Perennial Ryegrass on the Tees.
· Kentucky Bluegrass/Ryegrass on the Fairways.
The Club averages 10,000 rounds of golf per season and an annual maintenance budget of $1.8 million.
Educational Requirements
Interns must be enrolled in a turf program related to golf course management.
Experience Requirements
Golf course experience is preferred but not required.
