Seasonal Intern

Part-time

Chicago Golf Club is an 18-Hole facility located in Wheaton, Illinois, 25 miles west of Chicago. The course was founded in 1892 by Charles Blair Macdonald, often referred to as the "Father of American Golf". It is the oldest 18-hole golf club in North America and is one of the five founding members of the USGA. The course was redesigned in 1923 by Macdonald's protege, Seth Raynor. Since 1923, the course has been relatively untouched, aside from a 2020 restoration led by Tom Doak that brought back features that had been lost over time. The course is known for having extremely firm and fast conditions, and an inland links-like feel. The club has hosted many major championships, including three U.S. Opens (1897,1900,1911), multiple U.S. Amateur championships (1897, 1905, 1909, 1912), two Walker Cups (1928, 2005), and most recently, the inaugural U.S. Senior Women's Open Championship (2018). Upcoming championships include the 2033 U.S Women's Open as well as the 2036 Walker Cup.
