A general landscaping maintenance job involves routine upkeep like mowing, edging, weeding, watering, and mulching lawns and garden beds, plus pruning shrubs/trees, planting, and debris removal, ensuring outdoor areas remain clean, healthy, and aesthetically pleasing, often using power tools and requiring physical stamina, with tasks varying from seasonal cleanups (spring/fall) to basic hardscape repairs and client communication
Experience Requirements
- Lawn Care: Mowing, trimming, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and watering.
- Plant & Garden Care: Weeding, mulching, planting flowers/shrubs/trees, pruning, and pest control.
- Site Upkeep: Raking leaves, clearing debris/litter, cleaning walkways, and performing spring/fall cleanups.
- Equipment Operation: Safely using mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other hand/power tools.
- Installation/Construction (Sometimes): Assisting with planting, installing irrigation/lighting, or basic hardscaping (patios, walkways).
- Client Interaction: Communicating with clients, providing advice, and ensuring satisfaction.
