Seasonal Intern
Moccasin Creek Country Club is a private 18-hole course located in Aberdeen, SD. The course was designed by Charles Maddox and opened in 1971. The turf is comprised of bent/poa from tee to green, with rough being a Kentucky/fescue.
Interns will have the opportunity to work with the Superintendents on an internship program to meet their needs. This program will include, but is not limited to, the following activities:
- Course Set-up
- Water Management
- Mowing/Rolling
- Daily Course Maintenance
- IPM Techniques and Scouting
- Equipment Use Management
- Fertilizer & Pesticides Applications
- Irrigation Installation & Repair
Educational Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year Turf management program.
Experience Requirements
- Golf course experience or experience in a related field preferred.
