Irrigation Technician

Landscaping By J Michael is a landscape & irrigation company providing services to both residential, commercial and public construction throughout Massachusetts. We have over 40 years of experience in all aspects of the industry.
We are looking for career minded Irrigation Technicians to join our installation and service crews. Must be familiar with Pvc as well as poly pipe installation, variety of controllers and valves as well as sprinkler heads. Strong knowledge with two wired systems for programming and troubleshooting a plus. Must be comfortable working independently when required, trustworthy, and good work habits.
Educational Requirements
High school degree required.
Vocational or 2 year college a plus
Experience Requirements
· 5+ years experience in irrigation or landscaping industry preferred
· Valid drivers license with good record
· Experience in serving commercial and residential systems
· Ability to use mobile work order software
· Experience in using wire trackers and test meters
· Excellent communications skills including client relations
· Certifications with the Irrigation Association a plus but willing to train
· High school diploma or college degree
