Seasonal Intern
We are excited to announce an opportunity for 2 seasonal intern positions for the 2026 season!
Interns can expect to be involved in all aspects of golf course maintenance and will play a major role on our team. Interns will gain experience in daily course setup, mower operation, fertilizer and pesticide application and calibration, irrigation maintenance and repair, topdressing and aerification and crew management. Interns must be self motivated, detail oriented individuals that are aspiring to be managers in the turf field.
Stockfarm Club is a Tom Fazio designed championship golf course located in the picturesque bitterroot valley forty miles south of Missoula. The Stockfarm Club has been rated the number one golf course in the state of Montana. Expectations are high at the Stockfarm and we expect a lot out of our interns. In addition to working and playing on the golf course, interns can enjoy our blue ribbon trout streams and our many hiking trails that are located in the valley.
Educational Requirements
Enrollment in a 2 or four year turf related program is preferred.
Experience Requirements
Basic understanding of areas on the golf course and daily mower operation is preferred but not required. We try and tailor our intern program to fit the needs of the student and ensure they get meaningful experiences that will translate to better opportunities after graduation.
