Assistant Superintendent
Old Capital Golf Course is searching for an individual to fill the assistant superintendent role. Old Capital is located in Corydon, Indiana. An 18 hole public golf course with over 150 members as well. Over the past five years ownership has invested in new irrigation and renovated bunkers. The role of the assistant would be to assist the superintendent in day to day operations. Jobs included: Overseeing staff, spraying pesticides, course setup, water management, irrigation repairs, and etc. The club is laid back and the work environment is enjoyable. A young superintendent that has been with the club for 8 years that is eager to teach and work along a new co-worker.
Educational Requirements
4 year degree or certificate is recommended but not required. No problems training an eager individual pursuing turf maintenance.
Experience Requirements
Prior turf management recommended but not required.
Special Requirements
Must have valid drivers license
Must have Indiana Pesticides License or pass test 90 days of being hired
