Assistant Superintendent

Full-time

The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to ensure the club’s standards of excellence are consistently met. Responsibilities include applying fertilizers and plant protection products, along with maintaining accurate application records. The successful candidate will lead and supervise the maintenance staff on a daily basis, fostering a collaborative, team-oriented work environment. The Assistant Superintendent will also collaborate with the Superintendent, architects, club committees, and construction crews on current and upcoming course improvement projects. Additional responsibilities include assisting with budget preparation, purchasing, and irrigation system management and operation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, a solid understanding of modern turfgrass management practices, and a passion for maintaining golf course conditions at the highest level.

Educational Requirements

2-4 year degree in Turfgrass or Related Field

Experience Requirements

2 years golf maintenance or related field, recent graduates welcome
