Internship

Celebrating over 100 years, Saucon Valley Country Club lies nestled in the Lehigh Valley, an hour north of Philadelphia and slightly more than an hour west of New York City. Encompassing over 800 acres are three championship golf courses, a 6-hole junior course, tennis, squash, swimming pools, fine dining facilities, and an 18th -century guesthouse. In its illustrious history, Saucon Valley has hosted nine USGA Championships, most recently the 2022 US Senior Open Championship. Additionally, Saucon Valley Country Club has been selected to host five additional USGA events, beginning with the 2026 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship. Reserved for elite amateur male golfers under 19 years of age, the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship has an unparalleled history of identifying generational talent. The roster of past winners reads like a who’s who of modern golf greatness: Tiger Woods captured the title three consecutive years, Jordan Spieth claimed it twice, and other champions include current world number one Scottie Scheffler, Will Zalatoris, and Min Woo Lee. This remarkable lineage underscores far more than individual achievement; it demonstrates the championship’s vital role in shaping the future of professional golf. As the proving ground where tomorrow’s major champions hone their competitive edge, the championship doesn’t simply identify talent; it cultivates the mental fortitude, competitive fire, and championship pedigree that define golf’s greatest careers. Along with the Championships hosted, Saucon Valley prides itself on being recognized as a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, a Platinum Club of America, and the recipient of several renovation and environmental awards.
