Established in 1999, this 18-hole private club offers a top-tier experience for its’ members and has seen extensive renovation projects in the last five years with more to come in 2026. The projects include:
· 2020 - The ‘High Zone’ irrigation system was upgraded with HDPE mainlines/laterals, Rainbird IC System & Watertronics pump stations
· 2022 – New USGA spec greens (w/ dominator bentgrass) and the fairways resurfaced with Bandera bermudagrass
· 2026 - Completing the Irrigation ‘Low Zone’, full bunker renovation with Capillary Concrete liners and new practice putting green.

Educational Requirements
In process of, or completion of associate degree or Certificate in Turfgrass Management or similar fiel.
Experience Requirements
The 1st Assistant Superintendent is responsible for helping produce the agronomics and playing conditions outlined in the course’s business plan. The 1st Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for leading a team of 25 crew members, managing payroll, chemical/fertilizer applications, safety meetings & staff training. This individual will also focus on the business of agronomy, technology, continuing education, long-term strategic planning and have an important role in the upcoming renovation.
Special Requirements
- 3-5 years of turfgrass management experience as a 1st or 2nd Assistant, with a clear trajectory toward becoming a golf course superintendent.
- Growing knowledge of agronomy and turfgrass management practices with the ability to teach others.
- Possess or be able to obtain a state-required pesticide applicator license within 90 days of employment.
- Desert and overseeding experience preferred.
