Assistant Superintendent

Up to 50-60 hours per week. 

This includes the opportunity for a full time position following completion of the 2026 season with future advancement into a 1st Assistant level role going into 2027.

This position is designed for an individual pursuing a long-term career as a Golf Course Superintendent and offers hands-on training, mentorship, and professional development in all aspects of golf course management.

Primary Responsibilities: 

● Assist in daily golf course maintenance and grow-in operations 

● Work directly with the Golf Course Superintendent on planning and execution of maintenance programs 

● Supervise and train maintenance staff 

● Participate in irrigation management and turf health monitoring 

● Assist with fertilizer and pesticide applications in compliance with regulations

● Help oversee course projects and renovation punch-list items 

● Participate in weekend and holiday rotation schedule 

Preferred Qualifications: 

● Degree or certificate in Turfgrass Management or currently enrolled 

● Golf course maintenance or internship experience preferred 

● Pesticide applicator license or ability to obtain within required timeframe ● Valid driver’s license

Compensation & Benefits: 

● Hourly Rate from $20-$28 an hour (DOE), plus Overtime.
