Assistant Superintendent

Trump National Colts Neck features an 18 hole championship golf course with state-of-the art practice facilities on a 300 acre property in Central New Jersey about 12 miles away from the Jersey Shore . The Championship course is a Par-72 layout designed by former US Open Champion Jerry Pate, and later lengthened and refined by the renowned Tom Fazio II.  The course features a signature "19th hole" which is a par-3 island green that sits just below the clubhouse terrace .

The Practice facilities features two putting greens, a  newly constructed 60,000 square foot driving range tee, a newly constructed chipping area with two green complexes, and a 5 Hole par-3 "Short Course"  also designed by US Open Champion Jerry Pate,  which recently had all tee boxes completely rebuilt.  

The club features a luxurious 75,000 square foot clubhouse, 4 Har-Tru Tennis Courts,  4 newly constructed Pickleball courts, and an expansive swimming pool. 

An Assistant superintendent will be involved in all aspects of golf course management, working directly with the Superintendent. This includes:

• Collaboration with superintendent on daily crew assignments, staff training and scheduling 
• Plan and execute the annual chemical and fertilizer programs, including application, calibration and recordkeeping using PlayBooks. 
• Assist with daily assigning and tracking of both labor and golf course equipment with John Deere Pro Golf software. 
• Planning and oversight of all necessary cultural practices 
• Manage consistent irrigation and water usage across all playing surfaces 
• Trouble shooting and repair of PVC irrigation system, including Toro Lynx central control, VP satellite boxes, Flotronic pump station, and Plant-Star fertigation system . 
• Lead in- house construction projects such as installation of new drainage, irrigation improvements, tree removal or tree plantings .
• Involvement in planning and tracking of annual capital and operating budgets.
