Assistant Superintendent
Eagle Oaks Golf and Country Club is a golfer's paradise located in Farmingdale New Jersey. The only Nicklaus Design golf course in the state (est. 1989) provides a challenging and fair test of golf to membership and their guests. Eagle Oaks Golf and Country Club's ideal candidate is someone dedicated, qualified and motivated enough to move upward into the Superintendent's role.
The Assistant Superintendent:
- Works directly with the Director of Grounds in all aspects of maintenance and agronomic operations
- Assists in daily planning and execution of course maintenance
- Supervises and trains staff
- Applies pesticides and fertilizer
- Assists with irrigation scheduling and troubleshooting
- Complies with environmental, health and safety standards
Educational Requirements
- Degree from Accredited 2 or 4 year Turf or related program
Experience Requirements
- Degree from Accredited 2 or 4 year turf or related program
- Experience as Assistant Superintendent preferred, also new graduates and 2nd assistants encouraged to apply
- Knowledge of irrigation and turf equipment
- Strong leadership and communication
- Pesticide application experience
Special Requirements
Posses or ability to obtain New Jersey Pesticide applicators license
