Assistant Superintendent in Training: Trappers Turn Golf Course (managed by Oliphant Golf Management)

Oliphant Golf Management (OGM) is seeking a hard-working, results oriented Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our team at Trappers Turn Golf Course in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. Under the direction and supervision of the Head Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent will lead small groups to achieve optimal golf course conditions in a teamwork-driven atmosphere. This position offers opportunities to grow in your career while maintaining three 9-hole championship golf courses, and a 12-hole par three course. Central WI boasts a booming golf economy that makes Trappers Turn a premier opportunity for an AIT to bolster their skills and professional experience.

The successful applicant will assist the Superintendent with fertilizer and chemical applications, bunker maintenance, irrigation, and crew/project management. Our team members consistently reflect a friendly, confident, professional demeanor that provides a safe and healthy work environment. A Wisconsin commercial pesticide applicators license and golf maintenance experience/education are preferred.

Oliphant Golf Management, which oversees golf course maintenance at Trapper Turn, is a full-service golf management company which provides clients with expertise in golf operations, greens-keeping, and master planning. OGM contracts range from maintenance only to full golf operations and golf course leases. Salary: $55,000 and up DOE
