Assistant Superintendent
Lexington Country Club in Fort Myers is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.
Along with the responsibilities of leading the golf course maintenance staff in performance and productivity, proper pesticide and fertilizer application, and irrigation management, this position will give a great opportunity to develop further in the organization. As the assistant, your commitment to managing turf health under the leadership of the Golf Course Superintendent will require the following with the key benefits.
Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
A degree in Turfgrass management, Horticultural, or equivalent certification.
Florida Golf Course Best Management Practices (BMP) certification.
Green Industries Best Management Practices(GI-BMP) certification.
Experience Requirements
3-5 years in golf course maintenance operations.
Applications of fertilizers & pesticides.
Ability to communicate and provide positive team leadership and coordination.
Attention to details, providing high quality turf and playing conditions throughout the golf course.
Special Requirements
State of Florida Commercial applicator license.
