Horticulturist

Full-time

Trout National isn’t just a course – it’s a statement.  A world-class destination club delivering a curated experience where bold design, elite play, and five-star accommodations converge in an unforgettable setting.  From championship-level golf to luxurious overnight stays, every detail is crafted for members who demand the best.

Trout National - The Reserve is a private 18-hole golf course currently finishing all phases of construction for a grand opening in April 2026.  Three-time league MVP Mike Trout and 15-time major champion Tiger Woods teamed up to create the ultimate golf experience in south Jersey.  The property includes a newly constructed, state of the art maintenance facility, Rainbird IC irrigation system, and several planting beds throughout the 270-acre golf course.     Visit the links below for more information about the club.

We are currently looking to fill a Horticulturalist position to oversee the management of recently planted ornamental trees and plants throughout the property.  This position reports to the Directory of Agronomy and the labor-intensive aspects of the job will be aided by members of the grounds staff.

Implement a preventative and curative pesticide program for all plantings and mulch beds

Manage moisture, irrigation run times, inspect and repair drip irrigation in planting beds

Pruning and management of ornamental ivy

Monitor hardscape and schedule cleaning with grounds staff

Annual plantings based around the golf event schedule
