I appreciate you taking the time to review my resume. With over a decade of experience as a turf equipment mechanic, I've developed my skills working at both golf courses and dealerships. I completed the Turf Equipment Technology program at Lake City Community College, now known as Florida Gateway College, in 2011. I have completed levels 1 and 2 of the GCSAA Equipment Management Certification Program and plan to achieve the CTEM designation once I fulfill the necessary qualifications.
 
I am currently employed at a John Deere dealership, but I am pursuing an opportunity to return to the golf industry. I am actively seeking a position as an equipment manager at an 18-hole golf course, where I can utilize my skills to contribute positively to the team and the overall operation.
 
As our family is expanding, my wife and I are hoping to be closer to our relatives. While we aren't keen on returning to Florida, we would still like to be within 600 miles of the Gainesville, Florida area. We are hoping to make a move sometime in mid February 2026.

Qualifications

·         Small engine service, diagnostics, and repair.

·         Small – mid size diesel engine service, diagnostics, and repair.

·         Electrical diagnostics and repairs.

·         Hydraulic diagnostics and repairs.

·         Reel unit set-up, maintenance and repair.

·         Familiar with sharpening and grinding practices. (Foley and Bernard)

·         Experience with maintaining quality of cut.

·         Experience with John Deere, Toro, Jacobsen, Kubota, Stihl & Club Car.

·         Experience with basic welding and fabrication.

·         Experience in parts look-up and inventory maintenance.

·         Experience creating a preventative maintenance program.

·         Experience with using Google Drive and Excel for documentation.

·         Organizational and time management.

·         Strong emphasis on safety.

·         Maintaining clean and organized shop space.
