Equipment/Shop Manager
Riverton Country Club is in search of an Equipment Mechanic. The selected candidate will report directly to the golf course superintendent and work closely with the assistant golf course superintendents. The selected candidate will play an integral role in equipment management, perform repairs and preventive maintenance, reel and blade sharpening, and both short term and long term planning.
Riverton Country Club is a member owned private club located 20 minutes outside of Philadelphia in Cinnaminson, New Jersey. The club was founded in 1900 and designed by Donald Ross. In 2022, the club completed a restoration of all bunkers and tees. The club continues to work with golf course architect Tyler Rae on master plan restorations. The equipment fleet at Riverton Country Club is mostly Toro, Ventrac, John Deere, and Yamaha carts.
The selected candidate will:
· Have knowledge of 2 and 4 stroke and diesel engines
· Be able to weld and fabricate when needed
· Have the ability to trouble shoot
· Have knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
· The ability to create preventive maintenance schedules
· Work within a team setting
Educational Requirements
· High school Diploma or equivalent
· Technical training
Experience Requirements
· 1 to 2 years-experience preferred but not necessary
