2nd Assistant Superintendent
· Assist in planning and supervising, of greens, tees and fairways, and layout of all construction on the course
· Schedule and supervise maintenance work including assignment to applicable staff, to achieve the most efficient utilization of workers and equipment
· Maintain tees, greens, fairways, rough and bunkers to a standard as determined by the Superintendent
· Supervise and participate in the fertilization, pesticide application, planting, and maintenance of the golf course, putting greens, and 5-acre event site
Experience Requirements
· Minimum 1 years of experience supervising others
· Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training
· CA Qualified Applicator Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
· Thorough knowledge of construction and maintenance of golf greens, tees, fairways, and various types of turf grasses used on the golf course
