Lexington Golf Club is a private 9 hole club with a classic New England feel established in 1895. Depending on the experience of applicants we could hire a different person for each position. The second assistant/AIT will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent on all aspects of golf course maintenance. Our goal is to provide the members with the best possible conditions each day. This candidate will gain experience in all aspects of the operation including but not limited to mowing, hand watering, irrigation repair, chemical & fertilizer applications, course setup, aeration, construction and renovation projects. We will begin work implementing a new master plan with Tim Lewis of Tyler Rae Design this year. This is a full time position which will average 40-45 hours per week including one weekend day during the summer. If staffing allows in the summertime, the weekend schedule could change to include having a long weekend off per month. We also offer reduced hours in the winter.

NGM Inc is responsible for maintaining Miacomet Golf Course and Siasconset Golf Course, the only public golf courses on Nantucket Island, MA.  Miacomet is a semi private 18 hole resort style golf course open year round, and Siasconset is a 9 hole seasonal operation.  Since 2014 Miacomet has been ranked the #2 public golf course in the state and both courses have been awarded course of the year by the NGCOA.  Miacomet prides itself on world class conditions while handling a high volume of rounds with a fast paced work environment, and Siasconset is a smaller operation while still striving for championship conditions.  This position will be an integral part of the management team and will be involved in all aspects of the operation, working closely with the Superintendent and Assistant on a daily basis.  Their main responsibilities will involve; irrigation, spraying, supervising and training employees, project management, crew leadership, scheduling and record keeping   Miacomet will be renovating the practice green in the fall of '25 and is in middle of ongoing bunker renovation.  Siasconset installed a new well/ pump system in the spring of '24 and is planning an irrigation project and tee renovation for the winter of '25/26.

Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our agronomic team. The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to execute daily maintenance, manage the crew, and help prepare the golf course for daily play and tournament conditions.
