Outside Sales Representative - WASHINGTON, D.C AREA

Fisher & Son is seeking a qualified Outside Sales Representative to join our highly skilled sales team to service customers in the Turf and Horticulture market of Washington DC, to include but not limited to Golf Courses, Lawn Care, Landscape, Schools, Universities, municipalities, Arbor Care & Sports Arenas. Fisher & Son is a fifth generation, family owned and operated Green Industry Corporation providing goods and services to turf and horticulture professionals throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. The Pennsylvania location which serves as the headquarters for the operation resides in Exton, with a secondary warehouse located in Fairfield, NJ. This position is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial spirt to grow an already established book of business.

Mission Statement: To market superior products to turf and horticulture specialists with customer-centric services, leading-edge technologies, dedicated people and innovation.

Scope of Work:
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers to maximize sales revenue.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities.

-Attend industry meetings, trade shows & seminars.

-Stay current on all fertilizer & chemical regulations on the township, county & state level.

-Attend quarterly sales meetings at FSC headquarters.

-Provide detailed weekly activity reports upon request.

Experience Requirements

Essential Requirements:
- Strong sales skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to negotiate effectively and close sales deals.

-Must be able to thrive in an independent atmosphere.
- Comfortable communicating ideas and solutions to a wide variety of Turf Managers and experienced horticulture professionals.
- Technical sales knowledge to effectively communicate product features and benefits.
- Ability to analyze market data and trends to identify potential sales opportunities.
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in a related industry.

-Self-starter with a high motivation to achieve personal and company goals.

-Skilled in web-based marketing

-Valid driver's license.
