Assistant Equipment Technician
The Quechee Club, one of Vermont's premiere four season recreational communities, is looking for an Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our four-man equipment maintenance team. The Quechee Club offers 36 holes of Championship golf along with a small downhill and cross country ski area & other amenities such as swimming, hiking & biking trails, tennis etc... The Equipment maintenance team services all club equipment from hand tools to heavy equipment along with the winter sports equipment such as groomers and lifts.
We are seeking a dynamic and dependable team player, who is a self starter with a great work ethic, who wants to re-locate to the beautiful state of Vermont to take advantage of all the outdoor activities this area has to offer. Qualified candidates will have some experience with small engines, diesel engines, hydraulic & electrical systems, welding, reel mower maintenance and sharpening, or other related mechanical experience along with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot any mechanical issues. We are willing to train the right individual who possesses a sound mechanical aptitude and wants to learn and expand their knowledge base.

Educational Requirements
A high school diploma is all that is required, but some technical school or on the job training is preferred.
Experience Requirements
Some experience in maintaining turf & landscape equipment or winter grooming & plowing equipment is preferred but not mandatory. Must have your own set of basic tools and willingness to learn and expand knowledge.
Special Requirements
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds in the performance of job duties. Some weekend work is required on a rotating basis. Some basic tools required.
