SUMMARY Responsible for assisting the equipment manager in the repair and maintenance of various diesel, electric, and gasoline powered equipment. Responsible for the daily set up of all needed machinery and assists in the comprehensive preventive maintenance program. HOURS / DAYS Full Time, 42 to 47 hours per week however this may fluctuate according to the needs of the golf course and golf club grounds. Some weekends and holidays may be required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITITES Inspects and repairs various golf course and landscape equipment to ensure proper performance including mowers, utility carts, tractors, rollers, and small engine tools Checks equipment for performance on the course and makes repairs when needed Maintains a clean and safe working environment and ensures that all equipment operates safely and efficiently Assists with organizing and cleaning of the maintenance facility QUALIFICATIONS Working knowledge of light and heavy maintenance equipment and automotive apparatuses Ability to diagnose mechanical troubles and determine appropriate repair Skilled in the use of a variety of equipment repair tools Working knowledge of safety precautions Ability to communicate effectively Strong work ethic · H.S.
