Equipment/Shop Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Golf Course Equipment Manager. This is a full-time position with highly competitive salary and benefits.
As the Assistant Equipment Manager, you will work closely with the Golf Course Equipment Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair of all golf course equipment. This includes but is not limited to mowers, tractors, rollers, carts, trucks, loaders, excavators, skid steers and hand tools. You will also assist in inventory management of equipment and supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily operation and maintenance of all golf course equipment.
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs of equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment repairs, maintenance, and inventory.
- Assist in the inventory management of equipment and supplies.
- Train and supervise equipment operators on proper use and care of equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper handling of hazardous materials.
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical or trade school education preferred.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive, small engines, diesel or golf course equipment maintenance.
- Knowledge of and experience with various types of golf course equipment is a plus but not a requirement.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a variety of equipment
