Description:  Landscaping By J Michael is a landscape & irrigation company providing services to both residential, commercial and public construction throughout Massachusetts.  We have over 35 years of experience in all aspects of the industry.

We are looking for career minded Irrigation Technicians to join our installation and service crews.  Must be familiar with Pvc as well as poly pipe installation, variety of controllers and valves as well as sprinkler heads.  Strong knowledge on two wired systems for programming and troubleshooting a plus.  Must be comfortable working independently when required, trustworthy, and good work habits.

Responsibilities:

·         Startup and winterize irrigation system from both wells and domestic water supplies

·         Install controllers and program scheduling  per local rules and  site conditions

·         Diagnose electrical, mechanical and  hydraulic problems

·         Install a complete automatic irrigation system using pipe pullers and trenchers

Qualifications:

·         High school diploma

·         Experience in irrigation or landscaping industry preferred

·         Valid drivers license with good record

·         Experience in serving commercial and residential systems

·         Ability to use mobile work order software

·         Experience in using wire trackers and test meters

·         Excellent communications skills including client relations

·         Certifications with the Irrigation Association a plus but willing to train

Job Type:  Full Time Seasonal

Wages:  $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Hours/Schedule:  Monday through Friday:  7:00am – 4:30pm;  Saturday’s may be  

                             required during the busy seasons.
