History

Atlantic Golf Club is an Exclusive High-end Private Club located on the East End of Long Island. AGC is a 1990 Reese Jones design that has been changed over the years to become the present masterpiece that it is today. Atlantic is known for its firm and fast playing surfaces, high penalizing fescue and rustic looking bunkers. Atlantic Golf Club is a Championship Course and  has played host to the 2010 U.S. Mid-Amateur. Atlantic Golf Club competes with the other top private clubs in the area and provides tournament conditions daily.  

Currently

Major projects on the horizon include:

• Bunker renovation beginning Fall 2024
• Complete tee complex renovation 2026
• Improvements to maintenance facility are currently in progress 

Past projects include the completion of a state of the art driving range and practice facility, instillation of a new HDPE Rain Bird irrigation system in 2018 and new pump house and irrigation pond in 2019.

The right candidate will play an integral role in the daily maintenance of the golf course and will work closely with the superintendent and other assistant superintendents. You will be involved with but not limited to: Crew management, hand watering, irrigation maintenance, fertilizer and chemical applications, project management along with anything else that is needed to maintain our high standard of playing conditions. 

This is a full time hourly position with housing. $23/ hour
