Golf Course Superintendent
Looking for a Superintendent to work closely with the Director of Golf and Golf Pro to manage and maintain an 18-hole golf course, baseball/softball complex, trap-shoot range, picnic area and 2-hole practice facility. Four Winds Golf Course is a public course and has an excellent reputation as one of the best-maintained facilities in our area. Kimball is a growing community in the process of seeing growth from a major federal-government project and other growing businesses in our area. Kimball is also a great place to raise a family with it's small-town atmosphere and low cost of living. Golf course is getting a new irrigation well installed and VFDs installed on both wells. Irrigation system is a Toro Network LTC system with mostly 700 series heads but upgrading to Infinity heads. Turf equipment is mostly Toro and John Deere with some Jacobsen equipment as well. EOE.
Educational Requirements
Associates degree or higher in turf-related field preferred but exceptional candidates with other education may be considered.
Experience Requirements
Golf course turf maintenance experience required. Irrigation repair and equipment repair experience preferred.
Special Requirements
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs to head height. Ability to manage seasonal crew members. Ability to work weekends, holidays and overtime. Ability to work in inclement weather. Ability to operate and repair irrigation system. Ability to operate and repair turf-related equipment. EOE.
