Turf Equipment Technician
Perform a variety of mechanical repairs, preventive maintenance, and scheduled maintenance on all equipment used in maintaining the excellent playing conditions at Ravinia Green Country Club.
Educational Requirements
Valid drivers license, HS diploma, 1-3 years of experience and or training equivalent
Experience Requirements
· 1-3 years of mechanical experience
· Small engine repairs
· Knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines
· Working knowledge of hydraulic systems
· Reel and bedknife grinding and sharping. (training will be provided if necessary)
· Knowledge of fabrication, body work
· Working knowledge of golf course maintenance equipment
Special Requirements
· Conduct an effective preventative maintenance program on all maintenance equipment
· Keep detailed and complete maintenance records of all maintenance equipment
· Maintain a clean, efficient, well organized, and safe turf center
· Regular and reliable attendance
· Must have excellent mechanical and problem solving skills
